About Me

I have my master's degree in clinical counseling, with trauma studies, from Chestnut Hill College. I worked in hospital and community-based programs, where I treated clients in group, individual, and family therapy.

Prior to graduate study, I studied fine arts with a focus on acting. This proved to serve as a foundation for my interest in creative modalities and therapeutic expression.

My personal practice of yoga and mindfulness enhances my therapeutic approach. Developing an understanding of one's mind/body connection offers insight into the impact stress has on the body. The relationship between mind and body encompasses the overall human experience. I believe acknowledging the breath and body in my work with individuals supports connecting to 'the self' and is an integral part of one's healing journey.
